Located at the foothills of the Kammanassie Mountains which forms part of the Gouritz Cluster Biosphere Reserve, this Reserve measures 6125 hectares and includes 125 hectares of cultivated agricultural land run as a fully operational farm, sustained by abundant mountain water, where wine grapes, olives, pomegranates and pecan nuts are main crops as well as 6000 hectares of unspoiled wilderness where several rare and endangered species of fauna and flora make their home amongst the mountains and valleys.
You’ll find a rustic bush camp and facilities for your hunting experience, encountering Kudu, Eland, Gemsbuck, Burchell’s Zebras, Kammanassie Cape Mountain Zebra, South African Oryx, Springbuck, Red Hartebeest, Giraffe, Klipspringer, Red duiker, Steenbok, Grysbok, bush pig, Leopard, Black Backed Jackal, Bat eared fox, Baboons, Aardvark, Caracal and rare butterflies.
The bush camp: The rondawel, chalets and cottages can comfortably accommodate between 13 to 17 people.
Invest: An Eco Housing development is earmarked to be constructed on the Western part of the reserve which will be located among the orchards. This model is based on and inspired by Eco-and Agri tourism with the opportunity of full title ownership within the Reserve.
Fencing: ±40 km is fenced with a 2,4m game fence, installed by a professional
Wine grape cultivars : Morio Muscat, Verdelho, Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Tempranillo, Touriga Nacional, Grenache Noir, Shiraz and Mourvedre.
Water: 7 large dams, ± 10 boreholes of which most pump 10000l/hour and fountain water straight out of the maintain.
